PM Shehbaz lands in Saudi Arabia on official visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Saudi Arabia on an important official visit. At the airport, the Prime Minister and his delegation received a warm welcome from the Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq.

According to official sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman later today for high-level talks.

Prime Minister is on a visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey from April 15 to 18. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also accompanying him.

During his visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the Prime Minister will meet the leadership of both countries, where discussions will focus on bilateral cooperation as well as regional peace and security. In addition, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also visit Turkey to participate in the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he is expected to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other world leaders.

On the sidelines of the Forum, he is expected to hold bilateral meetings with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as well as other prominent world leaders. Pakistan’s participation in the Forum underscores its continued commitment to constructive diplomacy, multilateral engagement, and active contribution to addressing issues of global importance.
