Afridi offers support to former Afghan fast bowler

Former Pakistan cricket captain and star all-rounder Shahid Afridi has expressed deep concern after learning about the deteriorating health of former Afghan fast bowler Shapoor Zadran, while also extending his support and assistance.

According to reports, Shapoor Zadran’s condition is said to be very critical. The 38-year-old former cricketer has been admitted to the intensive care unit of a hospital following a serious medical complication. His family has also shared updates about his health on social media and appealed to fans for prayers.

In this situation, former captain Shahid Afridi expressed his best wishes for Shapoor Zadran and offered any possible assistance. In a statement on the social media platform X, Afridi said that he had spoken to Shapoor Zadran’s brother and was deeply saddened to hear about the former cricketer’s condition.

Afridi also wrote for Shapoor Zadran: “You have always been a fighter on the field, and I am sure you will face this difficult time with the same courage. I pray for your speedy recovery.”
