Cricket Australia has unveiled the schedule for a white-ball series against Bangladesh, marking Australia’s first tour to the country in 15 years.
The series will feature three ODIs and three T20Is between the two sides. All ODI matches will be held in Dhaka, while the T20I leg of the series will take place in Chittagong.
The first ODI is scheduled for June 9, followed by the second on June 11 and the third on June 14. After the ODI series, the T20 matches will be held at the Chittagong Stadium on June 17, 19, and 21.
Cricket Australia also confirmed that before the Bangladesh tour, the Australian team will visit Pakistan, where it will play a three-match ODI series.
Before touring Bangladesh, Australia are set to play a three-match ODI series in Pakistan, with the start of that series overlapping the final stages of the IPL. Those matches, followed by the ODIs in Dhaka, will kick off Australia’s preparations for defending their ODI World Cup title at the 2027 tournament in southern Africa. Australia’s 2026 ODI calendar also includes series against Zimbabwe (away), South Africa (away), and England (home).
In T20 Internationals, the Bangladesh tour will be Australia’s first assignment since their early exit from this year’s T20 World Cup. It also marks the beginning of a new two-year cycle leading up to the 2028 Olympics and the 2028 T20 World Cup, which Australia will co-host with New Zealand.
