Gold price rises again, increasing by Rs4,500 per tola in Pakistan.
The new price of gold per tola is now Rs506,062.
According to reports, the price of 10grams of gold has also been increased, now the new price is Rs433,866.
A day earlier, the price of gold was 501,562 per tola.
But then, gold gained $45 per ounce to reach $4,837 per ounce in the international bullion market.
Gold prices in Pakistan closely follow international bullion trends and the performance of the rupee. Any global price hike or local currency depreciation quickly impacts domestic rates, keeping the market highly sensitive to external shifts.
Diesel price reduced
On Friday, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif reduced the diesel price by Rs32. The new price of diesel is Rs353.43. Earlier, the diesel price was Rs 385.54. However, the government announced to keep the petrol prices the same.
The petroleum prices increased after the clash between the US, Israel, and Iran in February. The main reason for the increased petroleum prices was the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. However, PM Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir are playing an important role in the ceasefire between the US and Iran.
