red zone schools holidays

The government of Pakistan has extended the holidays of the schools within the Red Zone area of Islamabad, as the second round of talks is expected between the US and Iran.

Educational institutions and offices located in the Red Zone will remain closed on April 23 due to the security situation and administrative reasons in Islamabad.

According to a notification issued by the district administration, all schools and offices in the Red Zone will remain closed today, while concerned institutions have been directed to ensure work-from-home arrangements.

According to the administration, a temporary ban on entry into the Red Zone will remain in place to keep the security situation under full control.

The purpose of this decision is to eliminate any potential threat and ensure the safety of important public and sensitive buildings.

The notification also said that the Federal Constitutional Court will remain closed for today and cancel all of the hearings scheduled for today.

However, other branch registries of the court will continue to function as usual.
