A key development has emerged in the case against Saad Ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, currently under hearing at the district court, where the court reviewed a request to remove his name from the passport control list.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo presided over the hearing. During the proceedings, Saad Ur Rehman and other accused appeared before the court and marked their attendance. The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) over alleged promotion of online gambling apps.
During the hearing, the NCCIA submitted a report stating that Saad Ur Rehman’s name had already been removed from the Passport National Identity List (PNIL). The report explained that his name was initially placed on the list due to non-cooperation during the early stages of the investigation, but he later joined the probe after securing bail.
Investigating officials informed the court that they now have no objection to removing his name from the passport control list. A formal letter has also been sent to the NCCIA’s Deputy Director recommending approval for the removal.
It is worth noting that Saad Ur Rehman, is facing charges related to the alleged promotion of online gambling apps. However, this latest development has provided him with significant administrative relief.
Earlier, on February 09, 2026, the court indicted Ducky Bhai, Aroob Jatoi, and several others in the case related to the alleged promotion of gambling and betting applications on social media.
All the accused pleaded not guilty and chose to contest the case.
The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency.
The agency has launched a wider crackdown against YouTubers and TikTok influencers accused of promoting gambling content for money.
Ducky Bhai was arrested by the agency in August last year. He was later granted bail by the Lahore High Court on November 24.
