Eight Fitna al Khwarij Terrorists Killed in Security Operation in Tank District: ISPR

Web desk: According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Tank district following reports about the presence of Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij militants.

The statement read, “On 24 October 2025, on reported presence of Khwarij belonging to Indian Proxy, Fitna al Khwarij, Security Forces conducted an intelligence based operation in Tank District.”

During the operation, the troops engaged the terrorists’ positions, resulting in a fierce exchange of fire.

Eight militants were killed in the encounter.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain individuals, who had been involved in multiple terrorist attacks targeting security forces, law enforcement personnel, and innocent civilians.

A sanitisation operation is currently underway to clear the area of any remaining militants.

The ISPR repeated that Pakistan’s security forces, under the ongoing counterterrorism campaign Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, remain fully committed to eliminating all forms of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
