Actress Meera’s father has suffered a severe heart attack and is currently in the hospital.
According to the actress, his condition is critical and he is scheduled to undergo surgery next week.
Three arteries of the heart are blocked, Meera has revealed, requesting prayers for her father.
Lately, Meera has been busy promoting her new movie, Psycho. She stars in the movie alongside Shaan Shahid, Sonya Hussyn and Javed Sheikh.

During a promotional interview for her movie, Irshad Bhatti asked her several personal questions.
Later, he was trolled because of this.
Bhatti asked Meera several questions about her personal life and alleged scandals, including her relationship with fellow actor Humayun Saeed.
He also brought up the controversy involving her, Captain Naveed, and Atiqur Rehman. He also questioned the funding behind a hospital that Meera claims is built in honour of her mother.
These personal questions made Meera visibly uncomfortable and awkward. She repeatedly clarified that she had come on the podcast to talk about her film Psycho. “I don’t know what you are saying. Just watch my film, Psycho. I am really excited for it,” she said.
The podcast ended with Meera walking out of it. “We are very happy that you came to our set. I’m leaving,” she said calmly.
Her calm demeanour earned her praise from fans who simultaneously criticised Bhatti on social media for a “borderline harassing interview”.
