The Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council has shared the expected dates of Eidul Azha 2026. Several people on social media are really want to know about the Eidul Azha 2026 holidays. The Secretary General, Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, Khalid Ijaz Mufti, predicted Eidul Azha 2026 dates.

According to Khalid Ijaz Mufti, the new moon of Zilhaj  1447 AH is likely to appear on the night between May 16 and 17. Mufti also confirmed the timing of the moon’s appearance, saying that it will likely appear at 1:01 am according to Pakistan Standard Time.

Khalid Ijaz Mufti said if the weather remains clear, then the Zilhaj moon will be visible in the evening of May 17. He also said that the people will observe the first day of Zilhaj on May 18. Mufti also stated that the Muslims in Pakistan will celebrate Eidul Azha on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.  

Holidays on Eidul Azha

There are chances of 6 consecutive holidays on Eidul Azha. If Eid is on May 27 (Wednesday), there will be a holiday on May 26 (Hajj day). After May 27, there will be a holiday on May 28 and 29 (Thursday and Friday).

After May 29 (Friday), there is a weekend, and several educational institutes and offices remain closed on Saturday and Sunday. So, people can enjoy 6 holidays on Eidul Azha next month.
