The preparations for the closing ceremony for the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) are in full swing.

Ahead of the Sunday’s final, rehearsals are already underway as revealed by the Chief Executive Salman Naseer.

Salman Naseer when talking about arrangements for the title clash said that the stage and other ceremony-related setup are progressing smoothly and final preparations are being completed.  

Fans were also urged by the CEO Salman Naseer to reach the stadium by 6:30 pm. This is so they can watch the closing ceremony and the buildup to action without missing anything.

Naseer further said that supporters are being advised to arrive early so smooth entry can be ensured. This will also help avoid last-minute rush outside the venue.

It was also confirmed by him that the winning team of PSL 11 will take the trophy on a city tour after the final. The fans in the champions’ host city will now get a chance to celebrate the title like never before.

Naseer also discussed recent matches and praised the strong turnout during the qualifier in Karachi. He said that the response of the crowd was highly encouraging.

He revealed that the fan attendance has exceeded previous levels and an electric atmosphere had been created at the stadium.

He then proceeded to say that the turnout at one point became so big that the gates of the stadium had to be temporarily closed to maintain safety and manage entry.

The 11th edition of PSL is now in its final stretch. Hyderabad Kinsgmen defeated Islamabad United in the Eliminator 2 and will now be meeting Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

Zalmi have already secured their place in the final and will meet the winner of Eliminator 2 on Sunday.
