Field Marshal Asim Munir

Senior journalist Mansoor Ali Khan said that Pakistan was lucky that everything fell into place under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir.

Speaking at Pakistan Connect’s event on Marka-e-Haq, the journalist emphasised the importance of unity and leadership in Pakistan’s security.

“When it comes to security, you always need to stand behind your army”, he added.

The journalist also compared Pakistani media with Indian media, highlighting a stark contrast.

He criticised the credibility of Indian media, stating that even when they tell the truth, no one believes them. Khan emphasised that it wasn’t just the Indian forces that lost the war, but the Indian media as well, which has now become a joke.

Pakistan Connect marked the occasion of Marka-e-Haq with a special panel discussion, bringing together some of Pakistan’s most prominent journalists and digital voices for an in-depth conversation.

The event features leading media figures, including Mohammad Malick, Meher Bokhari, and Mansoor Ali Khan, alongside social media influencers, offering diverse perspectives on the significance of the day.

The discussion aimed to unpack key national narratives and engage audiences in a meaningful dialogue, with the full session set to be released on Pakistan Connect’s platform.
