PCB unveils trophy ahead of Pakistan–Zimbabwe Women’s ODI series

The trophy for the upcoming Pakistan and Zimbabwe Women’s One-Day International (ODI) series has been officially unveiled.

According to a spokesperson for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), captains of both teams posed for photographs with the newly revealed trophy during the ceremony.

The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe women’s teams is set to begin on May 4. The series also includes three T20 Internationals. All ODI matches will be played in Karachi, scheduled for May 4, May 6, and May 9. The first T20 match is scheduled for May 12. The Pakistan team is being led by Fatima Sana.

It is worth noting that this is the Zimbabwe women’s team’s first tour of Pakistan, marking an important step for the promotion of women’s cricket between the two countries.

On the other hand, HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11 is in full swing as preparations for the grand finale intensify, with a vibrant closing ceremony officially approved by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

The ceremony will feature performances by some of Pakistan’s top musical talents, including Atif Aslam, Ali Azmat, Arif Lohar, Aima Baig, and the Sabri Sisters.

Organisers have also planned a spectacular fireworks display to light up the event, adding to the excitement of the PSL 11 final.
