The spokesperson for the Agriculture Department has urged farmers to settle their outstanding dues under Phase III of the Punjab Chief Minister Kisan Card by May 10, 2026, to qualify for a chance to win valuable prizes through a transparent balloting process.
Additionally, the spokesperson from the Agriculture Department of Punjab mentioned that the payment process is currently in progress, and farmers who clear their dues by the specified deadline will be eligible to take part in the balloting for the lucky draw.
The spokesperson revealed that once the dues are settled, the subsequent interest-free agricultural loan will be credited to the farmer’s Kisan Card account within 24 hours.
Farmers who completed their payments by April 25, 2026, have already received prizes, including tractors, from a previous round of lucky draw balloting.
Punjab govt announces diesel subsidy with Kisan Card
Earlier, the government of Punjab announced Rs100 diesel subsidy per acre for farmers, with the payment to be disbursed through the Kisan Card.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz further announced to provide relief to the farmers by providing them a diesel subsidy of Rs100.
In January, the Kisan Card initiative launched by CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif significantly transformed the direction of agriculture in the province.
According to reports, the program restored farmers’ confidence, enabling large-scale purchases through easy access to credit.
In the scheme, farmers had been provided Rs100 billion in loans, out of which Rs65 billion was used up.
