The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), on Sunday paid heartfelt tributes to the defenders of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, commemorating the first anniversary of what it termed a symbol of national unity, resilience, and sacrifice.
In a statement, PMDC President Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj said that Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos showcased the professional excellence and remarkable capabilities of Pakistan’s armed forces in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and dignity.
He stated that under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, the armed forces effectively defended the motherland, adding that Marka-e-Haq would forever be remembered as a pivotal chapter of national unity and determination.
In paying Kharaj-e-Tahseen, PMDC recognised the extraordinary services, patriotism, and commitment of Pakistan Army healthcare professionals, rescue teams, and all those who remained resolute during this critical period.
Prof. Taj expressed that the entire nation takes pride in its martyrs and ghazis, whose sacrifices guaranteed the country’s freedom and security.
He highlighted that during Marka-e-Haq, the nation stood united like an unyielding wall, and the success of the operation mirrored the collective resolve of the people and the professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces.
In expressing solidarity on behalf of the medical community, he also acknowledged the indispensable role of the armed forces in maintaining peace and safety throughout the country.
The PMDC further honored the national leadership for what it described as selfless endeavors aimed at protecting human life, fostering national solidarity, and ensuring public welfare.
