Balochistan: Security forces kill 8 terrorists in intelligence-based operation in Chamalang

Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Chamalang area of Balochistan, according to reports today, after receiving secret information about the presence of terrorists and extortionists linked to mining activities.

During the operation, a heavy exchange of fire took place between the terrorists and security personnel. According to the reports, eight terrorists were killed during the clash.

However, Pakistan Army Major Tauseef and four soldiers embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting the terrorists.

Security forces are currently chasing the terrorists who ran away. In addition to this, clearance and search operations are continuing in the area.

The entire region is on high alert, and security operations against terrorism in Balochistan are expected to continue.

The ISPR added, “Marking the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, COAS & CDF; Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff; and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, NI (M), HJ, Chief of the Air Staff, extend their heartfelt congratulations to the nation and all ranks of the Armed Forces.”
