The Punjab government has introduced the “Rehmat Card” to help widows and orphans financially. According to the Punjab government, the Rehmat Card Program will provide financial security to widows and orphans across the province.
The Punjab government has officially allocated a budget of Rs 5 billion for this welfare program. Through this program, the widows and orphans in the province will be able to receive financial help up to Rs 100,000.
The authorities confirmed that in the first phase of the Rehmat Card Program, the 50,000 families will be able to receive financial help from the Punjab government.
It is important to mention that the orphan child will be able to receive financial help of Rs 25000.
Eligibility Criteria
The Punjab government will only help widows and orphans through this program. All the widows and orphans across the province will be eligible to apply for the financial help. The authorities also said that the entire process to apply for the Rehmat Card Program is digital, confirming that a few steps to follow to complete the process.

The process to apply for the Rehmat Card Program is quite easy. There are three different ways to apply for this program. The eligible candidates can apply for this program by visiting the website of the Punjab portal, or they can send a text message to 1077.
