The government of Punjab has initiated a crackdown on private schools for remaining open during the summer vacations.
According to the media reports, the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of the related regions have started sealing those schools that are violating the notification released by the government.
The authorities in the Punjab have launched a crackdown on private schools accused of violating the province’s summer vacation schedule, sealing several institutions in the Changa Manga area.
According to local officials, inspection teams acting on the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner of Kasur carried out raids on schools that remained open despite government orders mandating summer holidays.
During the operation in Changa Manga, authorities sealed several schools, including Leeds School, Sindhu Model School, Quaid-e-Azam Public School and Hazara Public School, for remaining operational during the holiday period.
Earlier this month, Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced that summer vacations for schools across the province would begin on May 22 and continue until August 23 due to rising temperatures and heatwave conditions.

The district administration warned that further action would be taken against educational institutions found violating the summer vacation schedule, adding that inspections would continue across the district.
