Web desk: The Command and Staff Conference of the Pakistan Navy has concluded at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad, as per a statement issued by the ISPR.
The meeting was chaired by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M).
During the conference, Admiral Naveed Ashraf stressed the importance of maintaining high levels of combat readiness to meet both conventional and unconventional maritime challenges.
He also underlined the Pakistan Navy’s important role in making sure of regional maritime security, peace, and stability.
The Naval Chief also reaffirmed that the Pakistan Navy is fully prepared to safeguard national sovereignty and defend every inch of the country’s maritime borders.
Participants of the Conference reviewed the overall operational preparedness of the Navy, and ongoing initiatives, and upcoming activities.
The forum also discussed arrangements for the Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference (PIMEC).
It is an important event that is aimed at showcasing Pakistan’s maritime potential and fostering regional cooperation.
The Command and Staff Conference is the Navy’s top decision-making body. It brings together the Chief of the Naval Staff, Principal Staff Officers, and Field Commanders to assess strategic priorities. It reviews operations and develops policies to strengthen naval capabilities in line with national security goals.
