Authorities have announced the timings for major Eid prayer congregations in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, while completing special security and parking arrangements for worshippers.
The main Eid congregation at Faisal Mosque will be held at 6:30am, where Dr. Muhammad Ilyas will lead the Eid prayer.
At Jamia Islamabad in I-8 Markaz, Mufti Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal Jalali will lead Eid prayers at 6:00am. Meanwhile, the central Eidgah Sharif in Rawalpindi will hold its congregation at 6:30am under the leadership of Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal Rizvi.
Mufti Dr. Muhammad Zuhur Jalali will lead Eid prayers at Jamia Masjid Anwar-e-Madina in A-Block Media Town, while worshippers at Jamia Masjid D-Block Media Town will offer Eid prayers at 6:15am.
Other major Eid congregations will take place at Jamia Masjid C-Block Media Town, Jamia Masjid Ghausia Azizabad, Idara Taleemat-e-Islamia Jauban Sir Syed, Astana Aalia Naqshbandia Bhara Kahu, Central Jamia Masjid Tench Bhata and several other locations at different timings.
Religious scholars have urged people to offer special prayers after Eid for the country’s peace, stability and the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
Authorities have also advised citizens to arrive on time for Eid congregations and strictly follow traffic and security instructions during the celebrations.

A high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere is expected to strengthen further from today, likely increasing humidity levels and making the heat feel more intense in Karachi.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the weather in Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid throughout the three days of Eidul-Azha, while sea breezes are likely to continue intermittently during this period.
