Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the restoration of its direct flight service between Islamabad and Beijing. This marked another step in strengthening air connectivity between Pakistan and China.
The flights will restart operations on the route from July 3, providing passengers with a direct travel option between the two capitals.
According to the announcement, the resumption of the Islamabad to Beijing service is expected to facilitate travel for business professionals, students, government officials, tourists, and members of the Pakistani and Chinese communities who frequently travel between the two countries. The route is considered strategically important due to the close diplomatic, economic and trade relations between Pakistan and China.
The restoration of direct flights is also expected to improve connectivity under various bilateral initiatives and enhance travel convenience by reducing transit times for passengers.
