India booked their place in the final of the Under-18 Asia Cup Hockey with a dramatic 5–3 victory over Pakistan in a thrilling encounter.
At the end of the third quarter, Pakistan were leading 3–2 and appeared poised to take control of the match. However, India mounted a strong comeback in the final quarter, scoring three unanswered goals to completely shift the momentum and seal the win.
For Pakistan, Uzair Ahmed, Muhammad Farhan, and Adeel each found the net once, but their goals were not enough to secure victory in a tightly contested match.
It should be noted that in the group stage of the tournament, Pakistan topped Group B to reach the semi-finals, while India finished second in Group A.
Pakistan advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Bangladesh 5–2. It is also worth mentioning that India and Japan will face each other in the final tomorrow.
