Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House ahead of the federal budget to discuss development projects and budget-related issues.
Senior PPP leaders, including Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman and Sindh Minister Jam Khan Shoro, also attended the meeting.
According to party sources, PPP leaders raised concerns about development schemes and funding for Sindh in the upcoming federal budget.
During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto directly shared the party’s reservations with Ishaq Dar and emphasised the need to address Sindh’s development requirements.
Jam Khan Shoro also briefed the deputy prime minister on the province’s key development priorities and ongoing needs.
Sources said both sides discussed projects planned for Sindh under the upcoming budget and exchanged views on ways to ensure adequate development funding for the province.
The meeting took place as the government finalizes budget proposals ahead of the federal budget announcement.
