The Romanian Agency for Investments and Foreign Trade (ARICE) has announced scholarships for students who want to pursue higher education in Europe.
The scholarship offers a chance to pursue higher education in Romania with most educational and living expenses covered.
It is being described as a golden opportunity to study for free in Europe, where almost all of the educational and living expenses will be covered. In addition to this, a fantastic monthly stipend is also provided
Eligibility criteria
The scholarship is available for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD programs. There is no application fee, and applicants do not need IELTS to apply.
The applicant must be a citizen of a country outside the European Union (EU) and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Romanian citizens, citizens with dual Romanian citizenship, and citizens of EU/EFTA member states are also not eligible.
ARICE scholarship benefits
Selected students will receive free education at Romanian universities. They will also get a monthly stipend, free accommodation, and medical assistance during their studies.
The program provides an opportunity to study in Europe. The students will be able to gain international exposure and earn a degree from a European university. Students will also have the chance to learn in a multicultural environment.

What can you study
The scholarship is open to students from a wide range of academic fields. These include Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Engineering, Business, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Law, Political Science, Humanities, Languages, Arts, and Architecture.
Which documents are required
Applicants are required to submit a passport or national ID card, academic certificates and transcripts. In addition to these documents, a motivation letter, a recommendation letter, an updated CV, and a recent photograph will also be needed.
Application deadline
The deadline to apply for the ARICE Romania Government Scholarship 2026 is June 12, 2026.
Students who are interested in studying in Europe are encouraged to submit their applications with all the required documents before the closing date.
