KIA Pakistan has sparked speculation about an upcoming launch, of the possibly updated Sportage L, after sharing a cryptic teaser on its official social media platforms.
The company has not disclosed the name of the vehicle, but the teaser appears to feature the rear lighting design of the updated Kia Sportage L. The distinctive LED taillight pattern closely resembles the facelifted model already introduced in several international markets.
The teaser has quickly attracted the attention of local SUV buyers and automotive enthusiasts, many of whom believe KIA is preparing to launch the Sportage L Facelift in Pakistan.
KIA introduced the fifth-generation Sportage L in the local market in February 2025. The SUV was offered in Alpha, front-wheel-drive and hybrid variants. The expected facelift could expand the model’s appeal by bringing a revised design, improved cabin technology and additional safety features.
The updated Sportage L made its international debut in late 2024 with major styling and technology changes. The facelift received a redesigned front and rear profile, updated lighting elements, a refreshed interior and a more advanced infotainment setup.

KIA Pakistan has not yet announced the vehicle’s launch date, price, variants or technical specifications. It also remains unclear whether both petrol and hybrid versions of the facelifted model will be introduced locally.
Should the teaser prove to be for the Sportage L Facelift, Pakistani buyers may see changes including a new exterior design, upgraded LED lights, improved infotainment, a refreshed dashboard and enhanced driver-assistance features.
For now, the identity of the upcoming vehicle remains officially unconfirmed. However, the teaser’s design details suggest that KIA Pakistan may make a formal announcement soon.
