US VP Vance hits out at Netanyahu’s government

United States (US) Vice President JD Vance criticised Netanyahu’s government for being problematic during the entire process of the peace agreement between the US and Iran.

JD Vance said while speaking to the journalists that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should not oppose a single powerful ally in the world.

JD Vance said while speaking to the journalists, “Donald J. Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time.”

He further added, “If I were in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a tense phone call over the ongoing war with Iran, with both leaders disagreeing on the next steps.

According to Axios, Washington is pushing for a diplomatic deal, while Netanyahu wants military action to continue.

During the call on Wednesday, Trump reportedly informed Netanyahu that mediators were working on a “letter of intent” aimed at ending the conflict and starting a month-long negotiation period. The talks would reportedly cover Iran’s nuclear program and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
