Ultrahuman launches M2 Live for glucose monitoring

Ultrahuman is now introducing the M2 Live, a health platform that allows frequent glucose monitoring.

The platform takes inspiration from the Lingo Glucose Biosensor by Abbott. It is available over the counter and does not need a prescription.

The Ultrahuman M2 Live can work with Abbott’s Libre 3 Plus sensor.

Data is delivered to your phone over Bluetooth LE by the Lingo sensor.

These sensors last up to 14 days each and cannot be used again. On the other hand, the M2 Live is a one-time purchase.

Abbott also has its very own app that is connected to the sensor.

The Ultrahuman M2 Live gives a user access to the M2 Live app that tracks your glucose levels and then calculates a Metabolic Score.

According to a scientific report on Nature, it is a clinically validated marker of insulin sensitivity and glucose metabolism.

Readings from smart ring sensors can also be added to the M2 Live.

Jade AI Biointelligence can then correlate glucose patterns with sleep cycles, HRV, physical activity, recovery and skin temperature results.

People with metabolic illnesses such as Type 2 diabetes, obesity, PCOS or PMOS and hypertension are the target audience for this platform.

It can also be used to lose weight by suggesting a more effective portion control.
