Karachi expected to remain hot over the next 24 hours

Karachi weather rain update, June 21, 2026

Karachi is expected to continue experiencing hot and humid weather over the next 24 hours. Temperatures likely to rise to 36 degrees Celsius.

The city will remain warm and humid throughout the day. Locals should prepare for uncomfortable weather conditions due to both high temperatures and rising humidity levels.

Karachi frequently experiences hot and humid weather due to its coastal location. The combination of high temperatures, moisture in the air and strong winds is common during this time of year.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 29 degrees Celsius. However, temperatures are expected to increase significantly as the day progresses. The maximum temperature likely to reach 36 degrees Celsius.

Additionally, PMD also predicted that strong winds would continue blowing throughout the day in different parts of Karachi.

Officials reported that the humidity level in the air currently stands at 72 percent. High humidity is increasing discomfort and making prolonged outdoor activities more challenging for residents.

Authorities have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight, especially during peak afternoon hours when temperatures are at their highest. People have also been advised to stay hydrated and take precautions to protect themselves from heat.

The PMD continues to monitor weather patterns closely and urges residents to follow official updates regarding changing conditions.

Earlier today, Heavy rainfall brought a pleasant change in the weather in Islamabad, offering much-needed relief from warm conditions.

Several areas of Islamabad experienced rain accompanied by strong winds and hailstorms during the daytime on Sunday, improving the overall weather conditions across the city.
