Lahore experienced rainfall in several areas on Sunday, bringing pleasant weather and providing much-needed relief from the heat. Showers continued in parts of the city, including Jail Road, Qurtaba Chowk, Mall Road, and surrounding localities, while both light and heavy rain were reported across multiple neighbourhoods.
The rainfall led to a noticeable drop in temperatures and improved weather conditions, making the atmosphere cooler and more comfortable for residents.
According to the Meteorological Department, the current temperature in Lahore was recorded at 33°C. The minimum temperature is expected to remain around 27°C, while the maximum may reach 39°C. Intermittent rainfall has also been forecast for today and tomorrow.
The department reported that wind speed was recorded at 6 kilometres per hour, while the humidity level reached 45 per cent.
According to rainfall data from different areas of the city, Nishtar Town received 11.2 mm of rain, Johar Town recorded 3.4 mm, Gulberg 0.8 mm, Samanabad 0.4 mm, and both Iqbal Town and Sagian received 0.2 mm of rainfall.
