Those who orchestrate violence, masquerading as peaceful activists cannot shield further…
Earlier today, Mahrang Lango was sentenced in connection with the killing of an FC soldier during the Gwadar Raji Muchi protest.
The incident took place in February 2024, when Mahrang Lango and her associates organised a march under the banner of Raji Muchi.
According to reports, the march started in Quetta, and unrest was reported at several places along the route.
Authorities also claimed that terrorists travelling with the convoy carried out multiple attacks on security forces during that time.
FC soldier Shabbir Baloch was on duty when he was surrounded by rioters and killed in a stone attack. Reports also said that his body was later desecrated.
After a legal case that lasted two years, the Anti-Terrorism Court in Quetta sentenced Mahrang Lango and Sibghatullah Shah to life imprisonment today.
‘Justice finally served to Balochistan’s son, martyr Shabbir Baloch’
In a post on the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Chief Minister (CM) Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, said, “During duty in Gwadar city, he was martyred by enraged BYC protesters who stoned him to death under the leadership of Mahrang Lango.”
He further added that today, following the court’s sentencing of Mahrang Lango and her associates, the Government of Balochistan’s stance has been proven correct.
