Pakistan launches new app for easy access to govt services

Govt services new app

The National Information Technology Board (NITB) has launched Pak App, a new digital platform aimed at providing residents of Islamabad with convenient access to a wide range of government services through a single application.

The app is an upgraded version of the former City Islamabad App and has been redesigned to deliver a faster, more user-friendly, and efficient digital experience. Developed under the “Pakistan Asaan Khidmat” initiative, the platform enables citizens to access services from multiple government departments without having to switch between different applications or portals.

Officials said Pak App features an improved user interface, enhanced performance, and simplified navigation, making it easier for users to obtain public services. The platform is intended to bring various government services together within one integrated digital ecosystem, supporting Pakistan’s broader digital transformation goals.

The application is available for both Android and iOS users and can be downloaded through QR codes provided by the relevant authorities.
