Ayesha Omar recently talked about the leaked private holiday photos from her Thailand trip.
She has said that the incident deeply affected her personal and professional life.
“It was very damaging for my career”, Ayesha stated.
While speaking to the BBC, she shared that the photos were taken when she went on a beach trip. She added that the pictures were circulated online without her consent.
The criticism she received online affected her work opportunities.
Ayesha Omar then went on to say that women in the entertainment industry are often expected to fit an ‘acceptable’ image.
Upon receiving hate comments online, the actress said that the experience caused her trauma. She further added that leaked photos can be used against women even when they are not inappropriate.
The actress has also said that the experience has left her hypervigilant. She feels constantly scared about being filmed in public now.
Nida Yasir discusses bond between siblings after mother’s death
Recently, Nida Yasir talked about the bond she shares with her siblings after her mother’s death on her morning show, Good Morning Pakistan.
“I feel like we have become closer now. My younger sister and I used to fight a lot when my mother was still alive. We would stop talking. But after her death, we feel closer”, she said.
“After our mother’s passing, we sisters feel like we need to be there for each other even more. We have become mothers for one another”, Nida added.
