The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is planning to build a Rs4 billion state-of-the-art hospital in Peshawar.
The new medical facility will provide top quality healthcare services.
The KP government also issued an official statement, reaffirming its commitment to providing the people of Peshawar with the best healthcare facilities.
The new Peshawar General Hospital will be established with modern medical facilities. The initiative aims to reduce burden on other major hospitals in the city.
It will also improve access to top quality medical services.
The KP government has said that it believes in improving public welfare by investing in the health sector.
Punjab govt to launch first hospital with free cancer treatment
Earlier, the Punjab government announced that Pakistan’s first public sector hospital with cancer free treatment, the Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research in Lahore will be opened on July 31, 2026.
Authorities informed Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz that Packages A and B of the hospital would reach completion by July 31.
The Punjab government approved the same date for the new hospital’s opening.
The Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cancer Treatment and Research is currently under construction in Valencia Town, Lahore.
