Ducky Bhai's wife Aroob Jatoi gets big relief from court

A sessions court in Lahore has confirmed the interim bail of YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, in a case related to the alleged promotion of a betting app.

Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Sadiqi announced the verdict on Aroob Jatoi’s bail petition, granting her relief by confirming her interim bail.

The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), which accused Aroob Jatoi of promoting an online betting app.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) granted bail to the accused in a case involving the alleged acceptance of a bribe from Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai.

Justice Abhar Gul Khan issued a six-page written verdict on March 18, 2026.

The decision concerned former Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry, Shoaib Riaz, and Salman Aziz.

The court ordered that the accused be released on surety bonds of Rs100,000 each.

Case background

Earlier, on December 28, 2025, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Central Court, Lahore, granted bail to three officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in the same case, while rejecting the fourth accused’s bail request.

The court approved the bail applications of Assistant Director Mujtaba, Inspector Ali Raza, and Sub-Inspector Yasir Gujar, directing each to submit surety bonds of Rs100,000. Salman Aziz’s bail request was rejected.

During the hearing, defence counsel argued that the accused were falsely implicated.

He said the prosecution alleged a bribe of Rs9 million, while the claimed recovery was Rs40 million, highlighting contradictions.

The defence also stated that the accused were not involved in any bribery and that no complainant had come forward.

After hearing both sides, the court granted bail to three of the accused and denied relief to Salman Aziz, ordering that further proceedings continue.

The case concerns allegations of bribery involving Aroob Jatoi and is being investigated by the FIA.
