A 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted inside a car in Delhi on June 30.

The woman accused the man of confining her in the car without her consent, adding that she was also sexually harassed by him.

The video recorded by the girl has gone viral, as a man can be seen using obscene and explicit language about her.

As per the First Information Report (FIR), registered by the Mandawali Police on the complaint of the woman, the man was known to the woman through her friends, and he persuaded her to accompany him to eat momos.

The woman agreed to go with him just to give him company, but while driving, the man said that he needed to stop to refill at the CNG station.

Instead of getting gas for the car, he diverted the car towards a deserted area, locked the doors of the car and started talking inappropriately about her body.

He started touching her body parts while asking for sexual favours, upon which the woman started recording him on her phone.

In the 10-minute recorded video, it can be clearly witnessed how the girl is asking the accused man to let her out of the car and shouting for help.

At one point, the woman also told the man that she would rather jump out of the moving car than allow him to touch her.

The screenshot of the alleged person is breaking the internet, with netizens cursing him.

Acting immediately, the police of Mandawali have registered the FIR, charging the accused with the relevant penalties for the offences he committed.

According to the latest media reports, the police have arrested the accused man and taken him into custody for further investigation.

It is not the first case of harassment in Delhi, as in recent months several cases have been reported to the police, same as this one, in which the victims have recorded being molested.

The people watching the scene have also recorded such incidents upon getting suspicious of the situation.
