The recent drone attack by the terrorist organisation Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has left multiple innocent civilians injured in the area of Hassan Khel in Peshawar.

Six civilians were injured in a suspected drone attack in the Hassan Khel area at midnight on July 1, according to local authorities.

The incident took place in the village of Pastawana, where officials said an explosive device dropped by a drone struck a civilian area, leaving six local residents seriously injured.

The wounded were given first aid before being transferred to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital for further treatment.

Officials said those injured were local residents. The statement described them as supporters of efforts to maintain peace in the area and said some had previously spoken out against militant groups.

Authorities blamed the attack on militants, saying the strike was intended to intimidate the local population. However, the claim has not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate comment from the group accused of carrying out the attack.

District authorities and emergency services said they were providing medical assistance to the injured.

Police and security officials are investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the attack.
