The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced disciplinary actions against several players following Code of Conduct breaches during the ICC Asia Cup 2025.

Pakistan’s S. Farhan received an official warning and one demerit point, while Haris Rauf was also fined 30 per cent of his match fee and given two demerit points for the same offence.

On 21 September, Match Referee Andy Pycroft ruled India’s Arshdeep Singh not guilty of an alleged breach related to using an obscene or offensive gesture, and no sanctions were imposed.

During the final on 28 September, India’s Jasprit Bumrah accepted a charge under the same article and received an official warning along with one demerit point.

In the same match, Pakistan’s Haris Rauf was again found guilty of misconduct and fined 30 per cent of his match fee, receiving two additional demerit points.

With his total reaching four demerit points within 24 months, Rauf incurred two suspension points, resulting in a ban for Pakistan’s first two ODIs against South Africa on 4 and 6 November 2025.

According to ICC regulations, Level 1 breaches carry penalties ranging from an official reprimand to a 50 per cent match fee fine and up to two demerit points.

Accumulating four or more demerit points within 24 months leads to suspension points, which translate into match bans.
