4 terrorists killed as security forces foil attack on Balochistan's Jiwani check post

A terrorist attack was carried out on a security post established to stop smuggling in the Panwan area of Jiwani, where Fitna al Hindustan and smugglers jointly opened fire on the post.

The post had been set up on an important route to prevent smuggling. It had reportedly played a major role in causing financial losses to Fitna al Hindustan and smuggling networks.

According to reports, Fitna al Hindustan and smugglers jointly opened fire on the post on Friday evening. However, the security personnel stationed there successfully repelled the attack.

According to the reports, four terrorists were killed during the exchange of fire. Additionally, two security personnel were martyred in the firing by the armed attackers.

Security forces have cordoned off the area, and the operation is still underway.

Security forces foil four drone attacks in Balochistan

Previously, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces had successfully shot down four drones in Balochistan.

According to the military’s media wing, the drones entered Balochistan from Afghanistan on June 30.

In a statement, the ISPR said Pakistan’s air defence system detected the drones soon after they entered the country’s airspace and destroyed them using advanced countermeasures.

The ISPR also claimed that the drones were launched from across the border and accused the Afghan Taliban government of carrying out the drone incursions.

According to later reports, the recent drone attack by the terrorist organisation Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) left multiple innocent civilians injured in the area of Hassan Khel in Peshawar.

Six civilians were injured in a suspected drone attack in the Hassan Khel area at midnight on July 1, according to local authorities.

The incident took place in the village of Pastawana, where officials said an explosive device dropped by a drone struck a civilian area, leaving six local residents seriously injured.
