YouTuber Rajab Butt shuts down marriage rumours with Durefishan Saleem once again.
Lately, rumours have been circulating on social media claiming that the two are about to get married. The speculation has surprised many, as they belong to entirely different fields.
Some social media users accused Rajab Butt and his fans of spreading the rumours as a publicity stunt to stay relevant.
However, Rajab Butt has repeatedly denied the claims and blamed the media for spreading fake news.
Speaking on a show, he said, “One day, I just woke up and saw it was viral, and everyone was asking me about it. People kept texting me. I was upset with social media after reading the news because they do not even verify or confirm such stories. I clarified the matter because she is respected and my senior.”
He also said that he only knows Durefishan Saleem from a drama in which she starred alongside Bilal Abbas Khan.
“I swear on my mother, I also found out about these rumours through social media. Some people think I started them for publicity, but that is not the case,” he added.
Earlier, Butt addressed marriage rumours with Durefishan in a story, saying, “What a shit media we have. Fake spreading.”
Saleem did not directly reject the rumour. However, her makeup artist called it “the worst” rumour he had ever heard and firmly dismissed the speculation.
According to reports, Rajab is currently separated from his wife following allegations of extramarital affairs, which he has publicly admitted to. Despite his massive YouTube following, he is widely viewed as a controversial figure, with many female viewers criticising him for his attitude towards women and describing him as someone who has no respect for them.
