NGC jobs 2026: National Grid Company announces multiple posts for junior engineer

The National Grid Company of Pakistan Limited (NGC) has announced new jobs for engineering graduates across Pakistan for 2026.

The company has invited applications for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical). The recruitment will be carried out through the National Testing Service (NTS).

The NGC is offering a total of 78 vacancies under different quotas. These posts will be Grade 17 equivalent.

These include open merit, provincial quotas, women, minorities, persons who have disabilities, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Candidates who have a BE or BSc degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering can apply. Applicants should have a valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).

The last date to apply is July 20, 2026.

Available positions

The available positions are that of Junior Engineer (Electrical). There are 78 vacancies available. Applicants should not be more than 28 years old on the closing date of the application.

Eligibility

Applicants need to have a BE or BSc degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a university that is recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The CGPS should be at least a 2.5.

All of the applicants should have a valid PEC registration. Candidates who are still waiting for their final exam results are not eligible to apply.

The vacancies have been divided under different quotas. These include Open Merit, Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Ex-FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Women, Minorities, and Disability.

Candidates who are applying under the minority or disability quota have to show valid certificates that have been issued by the relevant authorities.

How to apply

Interested candidates have to submit their applications through the official NTS website. They have to complete the online application form and pay a test fee of Rs650.

After completing the online application, candidates must print the application form and send it along with the paid fee challan to the NTS Head Office in Islamabad through courier service or Pakistan Post.

NGC has said that applicants do not need to send copies of their educational or experience documents at this stage. Those documents will only be required later in the recruitment process if needed.
