Islamabad Police extends last date to apply for jobs

Islamabad Police last date

The Islamabad Police have extended the last date to apply for multiple jobs that the department announced earlier.

The application deadline, originally set for July 8, 2026, has now been extended by one week to July 15, 2026, following what officials described as an overwhelming response from applicants.

The candidates seeking a career in the Islamabad Police have been given more time to apply, after authorities extended the deadline for applications to fill 1,712 vacancies across various categories.

Authorities said the extension would allow candidates who were unable to submit their applications before the original deadline another opportunity to take part in the recruitment process.

In a message posted on social media, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi encouraged eligible candidates who have not yet applied to make use of the extended deadline.

He described the Islamabad Police as a modern and professional force, saying it offers young people an opportunity to serve the country while building a respectable career.

The Islamabad Police is responsible for maintaining law and order in the federal capital, enforcing the law, protecting public and private figures, safeguarding lives and property, and responding to emergencies.

Officials said the recruitment drive is aimed at strengthening the force and improving policing services for residents of the capital.

Applicants have been advised to complete and submit their applications before the revised deadline of July 15, 2026.
