Imran Khan's former in-laws London home up for sale

A historic London mansion once home to former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan during his marriage to Jemima Goldsmith has been put on the market for £25 million following the death of Lady Annabel Goldsmith.

Ormeley Lodge, a Grade II*-listed property in Richmond, served as the Goldsmith family’s residence for nearly five decades and was known for hosting royalty, politicians and celebrities.

According to British media reports, Imran Khan continued to maintain an apartment on the estate even after his divorce from Jemima Goldsmith in 2004.

The mansion became a gathering place for high-profile figures over the years. Princess Diana was a frequent visitor during the 1990s, while Prince William, Prince Harry, actor Hugh Grant, broadcaster David Frost and other prominent personalities were among those who regularly visited the estate.

Lady Annabel Goldsmith, after whom the famous Mayfair private members’ club Annabel’s was named, lived at the property after it was purchased by her second husband, financier Sir James Goldsmith, in 1976.

The estate dates back to the late Queen Anne and early Georgian periods and features 10 bedrooms spread across approximately 15,800 square feet. Set on 2.3 acres between Richmond Park and Ham Common, the property includes landscaped gardens, a tennis court, swimming pool, orchard and several outbuildings.

Following Lady Annabel Goldsmith’s death last year at the age of 91, the family said the time had come to sell the residence.

In a statement, the Goldsmith family described Ormeley Lodge as a cherished family home that had been the setting for countless memories over the past 50 years and expressed hope that its next owners would value it as much as they had.

The property is now being marketed as one of London’s most prestigious historic homes.
