Time bomb blasts in Chattar area of Nasirabad; No casualties reported

Two consecutive explosions caused by time bombs planted by terrorists took place in Chattar Tehsil of Nasirabad district in Balochistan. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incidents.

According to DSP Chattar Haider Ali Manjho, the terrorists had planted time bombs near tube wells in the area, which exploded one after another with powerful blasts. Following the explosions, a large contingent of security forces and police reached the site and cordoned off the area.

Police officials said the purpose of planting the bombs near the tube wells was to create fear and panic among residents and damage property. However, no casualties were reported as no one was present at the site at the time of the explosions.

Security forces have cordoned off the surrounding roads and launched a search operation to locate the suspects.

It is worth mentioning here that joint Operation ‘Shabaan’, launched by the Pakistan Army, the Frontier Constabulary (FC), and the Balochistan Police following the terrorist attack on the Mangi Dam Police Station in Ziarat District, Balochistan, is continuing successfully. During the last 24 hours, security forces have killed 13 more foreign terrorists belong to Fitna Al Khawarij.

According to security sources, in the aftermath of the Mangi Dam attack, the operation against the terrorists has been intensified in the rugged mountainous terrain, with multiple hideouts being targeted through coordinated ground and air operations.

At the outset of the operation, security forces killed 26 terrorists on July 6 and 7. During the past 24 hours, another 13 foreign terrorists were eliminated in ground and aerial operations, bringing the total number of terrorists killed in Operation Shabaan to 39.
