Rising Kazakh actor Rustem Omarov has officially joined the international film project led by Jackie Chan, titled “Armour of God: Ultimatum,” marking a major milestone in his growing career.

Jackie Chan, born in Hong Kong in 1954, is one of the most iconic action stars in film history

Starting as a stuntman in Bruce Lee’s Fist of Fury and Enter the Dragon, he carved his own path by blending martial arts and comedy.

With hits like Drunken Master (1978), Police Story (1985), and Armour of God (1986), he redefined action cinema through his creativity.

By the 1990s, Chan had conquered Hollywood with global blockbusters like Rush Hour, Shanghai Noon, and The Karate Kid.

Moreover, his mix of humour, humility, and jaw-dropping action made him a worldwide favourite.

According to Sәlem Entertainment, Omarov will not only appear in the film as an actor but will also contribute as a screenwriter.

Expressing his excitement, Omarov said, “I’m happy: I’ll be acting alongside Jackie Chan, my childhood idol.”

The new film represents the fourth installment in the legendary “Armour of God” franchise, which began in 1986 with the first movie directed by Jackie Chan himself.

The series later continued with “Operation Condor” (1991) and “Chinese Zodiac” (2012), both of which became iconic in Asian action cinema.

Sәlem Entertainment confirmed that the upcoming movie will be filmed in Kazakhstan.

The project will be directed by Robert Kun, a Kazakh filmmaker and stunt coordinator.

The collaboration between Omarov and Chan has already sparked excitement among fans and film critics.

With “Armour of God: Ultimatum,” Jackie Chan continues to expand his legendary career while giving a platform to new international stars like Rustem Omarov.
