Bollywood star Aamir Khan has confirmed his wedding date, saying that he will marry his longtime partner Gauri Spratt on July 5 in an intimate ceremony at his Mumbai residence.
Speaking to reporters during the screening of the upcoming series Pritam and Pedro on Thursday, the 61-year-old actor said the wedding will be a private affair attended only by close family members and friends.
“I’m getting married on July 5, and the wedding will take place at home with close family and friends. We seek everyone’s blessings and hope that we have a happy journey together,” Aamir said while attending the event with his son, Junaid Khan.
The actor also revealed that the ceremony will be a registered marriage, keeping the celebrations simple and low-key.
Earlier this year, Aamir publicly introduced Gauri Spratt during promotions for his film Sitaare Zameen Par, confirming their relationship after keeping it private. He said the couple had known each other for nearly 25 years but reconnected around a year and a half ago before their relationship developed naturally.
In a recent interview, Aamir described their bond as deeply committed, saying, “Gauri and I are serious about each other and we are in a very committed space. We are partners, we are together. In my heart, I’m already married to her.”
This will be Aamir Khan’s third marriage. He was previously married to film producer Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira Khan. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and the couple separated in 2021 while continuing to co-parent their son, Azad.
Gauri Spratt, who is based in the wellness and beauty industry, has a son from a previous marriage. The couple has requested privacy and sought blessings from fans as they prepare to begin a new chapter together.
