Security sources said the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, is very clear about how to respond to any situation, on Monday.
They said he is not called a fighter without reason and knows exactly how to give a reply.
According to security sources, those behind Operation Sindoor believed that the Pakistan Army and the public would turn against each other.
However, that did not happen. They added that even after shooting down aircraft, Pakistan said if you mess with us, we will not spare you, despite pressure.
Security sources claimed that during the Marka e Haq, Pakistan used only 10 per cent of its capability and that 90 per cent still remains.
They said India will be dealt with strongly if needed and warned that action would be stern.
Speaking about Afghanistan, security sources said Pakistan’s operation there is not against the Taliban but is a response to India.
They said Pakistan has suffered many losses and carried many coffins, and now the other side will bear losses.
On the situation inside Pakistan, security sources said a Joint Investigation Team would be formed over the protesters who were killed.
They added that individuals among the protesters who were carrying weapons were fighters, and those who set fire should not be made heroes.
Security sources said the CDF COAS Field Marshal Asim Munir is committed to following the instructions of whichever government is in power.
They said the armed forces are under the federal government, and anyone seeking a briefing should contact the federal authorities.
They also said that if India takes any action, Pakistani forces are ready. According to security sources, the soldiers are prepared and confident in responding.
