OpenAI is about to introduce a new feature in ChatGPT that will allow users to create Artificial Intelligence (AI) stickers and export them directly to WhatsApp.
The feature was reportedly discovered through an APK teardown of a recent ChatGPT Android app.
It has not been officially announced by OpenAI, and its final design and release date remain uncertain.
Currently, users who create stickers with ChatGPT generally need to save the generated images, crop or prepare them and then manually import them into WhatsApp.
The reported feature could simplify the process by allowing users to create a sticker pack within ChatGPT and send it directly to WhatsApp.
According to the media reports, a user will be able to create and add AI stickers on his/ her WhatsApp by following these steps:
- ChatGPT Stickers
- Add to WhatsApp
- Download stickers
There will also be a section of an error message for cases where stickers cannot be added to WhatsApp.
If the feature is launched, users may need to create multiple stickers before exporting a complete pack.
Third-party documentation for WhatsApp sticker creation currently describes sticker packs as containing at least three and up to 30 stickers.
OpenAI has not officially announced a ChatGPT feature for exporting AI-generated sticker packs directly to WhatsApp.
How to use ChatGPT in WhatsApp?
Users can access ChatGPT directly through WhatsApp without installing a separate app.
To get started, users can add ChatGPT to their WhatsApp contacts by scanning the QR code provided on OpenAI’s official WhatsApp page or by saving the official ChatGPT WhatsApp number as a contact.
Once connected, users can send messages in the chat and receive AI-generated responses, while also using features such as sharing photos or files and generating images on the go.
