Global media outlet, The Diplomat published an article praising the role of Pakistan and its political-military leadership, particularly Field Marshal Asim Munir, to end the US-Iran conflict.
According to The Diplomat, Field Marshal Asim Munir is a favourite of the US President Donald Trump. The published report mentions that Field Marshal Asim Munir played a crucial role to end the war between the US and Iran.
The report also mentioned that Pakistan emerged as a country of peace during the war days between the US and Iran. Pakistan played the role of a bridge between the two countries to return to the days of peace.
The Diplomat mentioned that Pakistan was not very famous on the diplomatic front, but now the country is a key mediator in the Middle East.
It is pertinent to mention that the US President Donald Trump, in his speeches, called Field Marshal Asim Munir the best Field Marshal and a soldier.
Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif several times and thanked Pakistan’s leadership for playing a key role in ending the conflict between the US and Iran.

Earlier, the Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan will host the US-Iran signing ceremony in Geneva on Friday this week.
PM Shehbaz earlier wrote in a post on X that the US-Iran talks have reached an agreement and the signing ceremony will be officially held in Geneva on Friday, June 19.
He wrote on X, “The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.”
