The real facts and sensational details surrounding the recent incident in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, have come to light, completely dismantling the false narrative propagated by miscreant elements.

According to investigations conducted by security agencies and forensic investigators, the Bagh incident was deliberately portrayed on social media as an organised bomb blast in a calculated attempt to hold state institutions responsible. However, the explosion actually occurred when a gas cylinder burst inside a private house where the banned Joint Action Committee (JAAC) had stored a large quantity of illegal weapons and dangerous ammunition.

According to the investigation report, security agencies had received intelligence reports that miscreant elements operating under the cover of the banned Joint Action Committee had converted a house in a residential area of Bagh into a secret ammunition depot.

The sudden explosion in this stockpile of ammunition occurred when a cylinder inside the private house burst, causing the materials, weapons and ammunition stored inside the house to explode, resulting in the deaths of five people present there. Security sources say these innocent citizens would still be alive today if armed operatives of the banned Joint Action Committee had not stockpiled dangerous explosives and mortar shells in the middle of a civilian residential area.

Immediately after the incident, digital disinformation cells and social media accounts operating from India became active and portrayed it as a bomb blast carried out by security agencies in an attempt to provoke public anger. However, forensic examinations of the burnt remains of automatic weapons recovered from the site, samples of explosive powder, and damage to the interior walls of the house established that the epicentre of the explosion was the room inside the house where the ammunition had been stored.

The Government of Pakistan and law enforcement agencies have made it clear that this committee, formed in the name of public rights, is in fact an external proxy seeking to spread bloodshed in the region. Calls are now growing for a grand operation to immediately clear all private houses and hideouts where ammunition has been concealed by putting civilian lives at risk.
