Registering for the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif programme under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is a simple process for eligible families.

To register a child, the child’s mother must be eligible for the Benazir Kafaalat programme. The child must also have a valid B-Form issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

Parents or guardians should take the child to the nearest BISP tehsil office for registration. They must provide the child’s B-Form and the mobile phone number already registered in the BISP records.

After registration, the office will issue an enrolment slip. The slip must be completed by the child’s school and include details such as the class, section and class teacher’s name, along with the head teacher’s signature and other required information.

Once completed, the enrolment slip must be submitted back to the BISP tehsil office. After the required verification, the child’s educational stipend will be released.

The child must maintain at least 70% school attendance to continue receiving the stipend.

If the child changes schools, parents should immediately inform the nearest BISP tehsil office so that the record can be updated.

BISP has also clarified that all its services are free of charge. Anyone asked to pay money at any stage should immediately lodge a complaint with the programme.
