Fans have again begun speculating about the marriage of Pakistani actors Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem on social media platforms due to the renewed rumours.
The current trend of claims started with the recent posting of Bilal Abbas Khan’s Instagram stories from Makkah.
After that, a number of entertainment pages and fans spread rumours of both actors being in Saudi Arabia at the same time, to do the Hajj.
The posts helped to perpetuate rumours that the two are already married.
The speculation had been ramping up over the weekend when a number of Instagram pages and gossip sites elaborated on the rumours without providing any evidence of the Ishq Murshid actors being married.
Some claimed that they had already performed a “nikkah” even though they didn’t provide evidence to substantiate these claims or confirm them.
Neither actor has commented on the issue nor clarified any of these rumours.
Bilal Abbas Khan and Durefishan Saleem are not the first duo to be in the middle of a relationship rumour.
The fans have been speculating about an off-screen relationship since their hit drama serial Ishq Murshid.
They were also known for their excellent chemistry in the romantic drama which attracted much attention in Pakistan and abroad and made them one of the most talked about on-screen couples on television.
The pair continues to neither confirm nor deny the continued rumours.
Their silence has in turn further fueled public interest and continues the conversation on Facebook.
Professionally, Bilal Abbas Khan still has some television projects going on; he was last seen in Meri Zindagi Hai Tu with Hania Aamir. Meanwhile, Durefishan Saleem was last seen in drama Sanwal Yaar Piya.
